I have been with my fiancé for two and a half years I looked for the emotional support and his version was not enough . meaning it was to get what he wanted it never felt like he was really interested in my emotions. he say he understood and encouraging but it never came off this way. let me explain it like this it felt more like conditions rather than unconditional .I was there for the up and down moments he had but mine were like to him not there or he felt he was supportive but I got nice words but not considerations. not sure I made myself clear but perhaps .I left out the financial support he got from me and things got stiffy there
