Courage

A lot of times in our lives we are scared. Scared of doing something that God already said we can do. We keep praying for answers, for open doors, when we have the keys to unlock all doors. All we are told to do is to be strong and courageous. If we do that, we can face any situation or trial and be sure to conquer.

One of the things that stops us from exceling is ignorance. I once listened to my pastor talking about value. He said your value increased the moment you received salvation. You received a supernatural excellence. You have the ability and capacity to do anything in Christ. Is it starting a business? Pursuing a degree? Just be bold enough to take the first step and when you look back after a while, you will be a mile away.

There is verse in the Bible that I really like: “…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” (Daniel 11:32, KJV)

If you abide by the word of God and stay rooted in it, you will be able to do unimaginable things.  Do not limit, doubt or look down upon yourself. You are special and can do great things; the biggest problem is you are not letting yourself do it because of fear. Imagine sitting in the dark, scared of turning on the light because it might burst and looking for someone to do it for you. Yes, there is a possibility the light might burst but what if doesn’t?

You will never know until you get up and try. That is exactly how it is with Christians. We stand and wait for someone to give us answers, to help us, yet we have it all in us. We have the power to move mountains. Challenge yourself. Get out of your comfort zone and go out there and do it. Do not think of the ifs. You lose nothing by trying and failing. You actually walk out with lessons that will help you do better tomorrow. Someone once said, “Never give up on something you really want. It’s difficult to wait but more difficult to regret.” Don’t regret doing nothing. Do something.
