I like how secretive streams can be. They can often be overlooked, especially when they are near some grand river or rushing waterfall. People do not typically go out of their way and expend physical energy to go see a stream. And yet they play an essential part in forming rivers, waterfalls, seas, and oceans.
If you are more of a ‘working in the background’ person, you can get used to being overlooked. You can often watch someone get all the praise and recognition when you were instrumental to his/her success. Don’t let it get you down. Learn not to base your value on the reaction of others. Know your own worth. And always remember, you can shape mountains.
