During the Shero Runway Empowerment Conference that took place on June 28th, we took a moment for a sit-down interview with Sharon Jesscah Awuor, founder of Peperusha Binti – and organization that donates sanitary towels to girls in rural parts of Kenya who would otherwise miss school due to menstruation.
Sharon Jesscah relies on donations from friends and family to provide the products to girls. She also educated the girls on menstrual hygiene.
Shero organizers have pledged to donate 144 packets of sanitary napkins to Peperusha Binti.
