Meet TWSC Contributor Naume Mubure!

Happy Monday! To close out our TWSC Appreciation Month, I’d like to introduce you to another one of our beloved contributors Naume Mubure. Naume has been part of the team since November 2018. I was looking for more writers and she was referred to me by Tatenda Rungisa.

Naume has been such a blessing to us. From the beginning, she was eager to learn our writing style and I loved how dedicated she was. Most of her articles focus on faith and leave a lasting impression on readers. In fact, her piece on God’s permissive vs. His perfect will, which she wrote in 2019 continues to be one of our most highly read articles each month. Last month, nearly 2,500 people read it.

Since joining the team, Naume has become a wife and is a new mother. We actually did a story on her planning her wedding during the pandemic. There is so much to admire about Naume, here are some interesting facts about her:

As a kid, I got into so many troubles, but there is one where my mother was cooking sadza. We had a 2 plate stove [set] on the cupboard. So when the sadza was cooking, I was swinging on the cupboard door until the cupboard, stove and pot fell. Luckily, when the cupboard fell, it closed me inside it and was not burnt by the sadza pot. I got a beating from my mother.
