One of our goals here at The Weight She Carries is to create a sisterhood where we as women can gain insight from each other on how to deal with the issues we face. Here’s our first submission:
“I was working for a private publishing company as a graphic designer and this made me to work closely with my boss, who was too nice to me. He allowed me to work through my pregnancy till the baby was born, and he called me back after the baby was born to work and I resumed.
A month ago, his wife called me and asked me to leave my job and accused me for sleeping with her husband, which is false. When I called my boss, he said that they had a heated argument about why we were so close.
On Friday, she sent my friend to tell me that I am her sworn enemy and that she will never forgive me. I had no sexual relationship with my boss and he never approached me, although he once sent away my boyfriend and warned me never to allow him to come to my place of work.
Up to now his wife is mad at me even when I told her the truth she said I am lying to her. What should I do? Please help.”
