There are times when it seems easier to just fit in and live according to others’ opinion, even when it’s far from what you want. I still don’t understand how one gets to this point of desperacy where being true to one’s self is suddenly not satisfactory, and the rest of the world has to determine your every step.
It’s not that difficult to just go with the flow, but it is difficult to move along in someone else’s footsteps and still be the best version of yourself.
You will always be described as a copy of the original or a ‘wanna be’ who will most likely never realize his/her potential.
If reaching your final destination and not how you get there is all that matters, you will miss out on some of the most important things in life. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the journey. As long as you love what you do, nothing will stop you from reaching your destination.
Knowing someone has trod the same path before you is easier than always wondering if anyone understands you at all, or if you will ever make it. The path has already been carved out, but that does not mean it is the best route for you, or that you will enjoy the journey. Trust yourself to know how to make it even when it means creating your own path from scratch.

Everyone wants to leave footprints, some more desperately than others, but we forget that whether we plan to or not, permanent footprints are never made by how you walk, but where you step.
The same footprint that may be difficult to get rid of on wet cement can be easily blown away by the wind, washed away by rain, or replaced by another footprint.
Keep walking. Somewhere along the way you will step on the right ground and your footprint will never be erased.
