There are times we feel so hopeless in life. We try everything in our power, but nothing changes. Hopeless situations tend to take away all our joy and freedom. Whenever you try to enjoy yourself, there will come that disturbing reminder in your mind about that hopeless situation you are facing, and you suddenly start feeling low.
Some situations are so complicated that we even fail to share them with friends and relatives. This can lead to bitterness and frustration with oneself; that is more and more hopeless situations piling up on one person.
The word of God in James 1:2-3 encourages us to “…count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” We need to stay strong and know that our faith is being tried. We need to keep our faith during these hopeless situations and practice patience.
You may think that no one has ever been in your situation. It might be true, but you will find out that some women have gone through worse situations but are still standing because they kept their faith in God.
When the enemy comes like a flood, the Lord shall raise the standard. We are protected by the most High God and we are safe. We should confuse the enemy when we are in these hopeless situations. Instead of crying and wondering how you will overcome, just keep yourself busy, praise and worship God and don’t even think about your situation. You will realise that by doing so, God is solving your issue, for joy comes in the morning.
There is a saying, ‘what does not kill you makes you stronger.’ This is a very true statement. We need to keep our faith during hopeless situations so that we testify the goodness of the Lord and encourage others that with God, it is possible. You will be an example to uplift other people and advise them to keep their faith because you did so and overcame. When faced with challenges, let us not think that we are cursed. Challenges bring out the best in us and show the world that with God, you will never be defeated. The hopeless situation is only a passing phase.
